My town

Hello! I would like to share a picture of a church I can  see from my kitchen window.

My home town Šilutė is a small town, located in Western Lithuania. The rainfall level  is higher than elsewhere in Lithuania. Šilutė district distinguishes from the rest of Lithuania in its periodical floods flooding the area every early spring. It is even  said that daily life in Šilutė district  is created by both: people and waters. A lot of fish is caught here. Fish - Žuvis (in Lithuanian language).

My Town

If I have to describe my city, Sivas, with just one word, I would say 'Tarihi', which means 'Ancient'.

My town

The town where we live, PAIANIA, was one of the ten municipalities of ancient Athens. Here was born Demosthenes, a great orator of gold century of Athens. Nowadays, it's one of the beautiful suburbs of Athens. It's a nice place to live, quite and calm not far from Athens. It's PEACEFUL.

"My town".

The city was first founded during the period of the Vlach-Bulgarian EmpirE in the 12th century, the Royal Court ("Curtea DomneascA"), was probably built during this time by the early Vlach Voievods. It became the capital of the Wallachian voivodship

VLAD  Dracula”later added the Chindia Tower, now a symbol of the city.

TArgoviSte is a name derived from Slavic, its original meaning being of Marketplace.

When I think of my city says
HISTORY/ISTORIE

¡Hola!

Hi, I'm Maurizia

Hi, I am Maurizia, the coordinator of the workshop Eutopia. So far we have been in touch only by e-mail, but the time has come to know each other better before the July meeting starts. I am a member of MCE since 1975. I have been a teacher for primary school during many years, but now when I bend towards a child my spine pains. So I decided to care about adults, even if I have discovered they are even more engaging than children!!! I love theatre, music and all performative arts and I like to mix them with pedagogy. I am fond of EU projects as they allow to get in touch with other teachers, exchange experience and learn from them. Eutopia will be a promising opportunity for this.
