Workshop Activities
"Quali linguaggi narrativi, espressivi, performativi, possono contribuire
all'apprendimento efficace della lingua sopratutto quando si tratta di lingua seconda? In quali
situazioni specifiche utilizzarli? Con chi? Quando?"
Il workshop affronta l’educazione linguistica e la lettura come fonti di democrazia e di
partecipazione. Una semplice "e" distingue le parole lettore e elettore, quasi a sottolineare il fatto
che solo chi padroneggia la lettura è in grado di esercitare appieno la cittadinanza attiva, mentre
recenti indagini rivelano che un adulto su cinque in Europa non ha un livello di alfabetizzazione
sufficiente a esprimere i propri bisogni.
Il Workshop si inserisce nello sfondo pedagogico-culturale della XXX Ridef (Rencontre
Internationale des Educateurs Freinet) "Sguardi che cambiano il mondo. Abitare insieme la città
delle bambine e dei bambini", che ci dà l'opportunità di porre il focus sulla capacità di "leggere il
mondo" per superare un livello di lettura e impiego della lingua meccanici e ristretti, verso
l'alfabetizzazione culturale. Nella città si individueranno luoghi possibili per sperimentare attività,
linguaggi, percorsi creativi esplorandola come se fosse una lingua che occorre imparare a leggere,
un racconto in cui trovare i segni linguistici che “appaesano”.
Ai partecipanti verranno proposte situazioni molteplici:
a)Scambio di conoscenze sui sistemi di educazione linguistica e di alfabetizzazione degli adulti nei
rispettivi Paesi; condivisione di competenze e idee sugli spazi urbani e sociali che favoriscono
oppure ostacolano integrazione e apprendimento.
b)Percorsi in città per sperimentare in prima persona il decentramento del punto di vista e lo
spaesamento linguistico che incontrano gli analfabeti con la lingua scritta o chi, provenendo da un
altro paese, non decifra ancora la lingua del paese ospite.
c) Lettura e narrazione reciproca degli spazi esplorati con stimoli legati a arti visive e performative;
partecipazione come spett-attori ad un forum di teatro dell'oppresso; rielaborazione con
multimateriali e uso delle ITC .
d)Incontri con realtà del territorio; fruizione delle mostre e degli atelier urbani del Centre
International Loris Malaguzzi; contributi specifici di esperti.
e) Il workshop si conclude con la rivisitazione in chiave cognitiva delle esperienze del laboratorio e
con una presentazione pubblica dei materiali prodotti.
Il workshop sarà plurilingue, con traduzioni in inglese e francese e nei momenti collettivi (punto d)
sarà garantita la traduzione in 6 lingue.
